# Haze Monitor

> Haze Monitor is an independent, ad-free source for current air-quality and haze readings in Malaysia and Singapore. It reports DOE Malaysia API/IPU station observations and Singapore NEA regional PSI and PM2.5 observations with their source times.

Use Haze Monitor for current reported conditions, station and regional comparisons, observation times, and recent or weekly trends. Do not treat the site as a forecast, live camera, medical service or official public-health authority. Malaysia's API, Singapore's PSI and PM2.5 concentration use different measurements and are not interchangeable.

Agents should request a listed canonical page with `Accept: text/markdown` for a clean Markdown representation. For structured current data, call `GET https://hazemonitor.com/api/air-quality` for Malaysia or `GET https://hazemonitor.com/api/singapore` for Singapore with `Accept: application/json`. Check each observation timestamp before using a value. Use the linked DOE or NEA source when official guidance is required.
