Memahami Indeks Pencemaran Udara

The Air Pollutant Index (API), or Indeks Pencemaran Udara (IPU) in Bahasa Malaysia, is published hourly by the Department of Environment for every monitoring station in the country. It follows Malaysia's own scale, which differs from the US AQI. During haze season, usually August to October, readings above 100 are common in the Klang Valley, Johor and Sarawak.
